Recorded usage comes from completed provider calls only. Native catalog search does not consume this budget.

Daily token budget

What it does Caps daily token spend. When the budget is spent, the assistant degrades to plain WooCommerce search. Zero means no cap.

Default value 200000

Available options 0–100000000

Recommended configuration Set a number you can afford. Use 0 only if you monitor the provider dashboard yourself.

When to use it Prevent runaway bills.

Effect on the frontend After the cap: keyword/catalog answers and fallback messages instead of LLM replies.

Dependencies Usage repository; AI provider.

Important notes The page also shows a count of provider calls recorded so far, or “No data yet”.
