Analytics settings
Navigation: WordPress Admin → WooCommerce → AI Assistant → Analytics → Settings
Tracking is off the hot path. Disabling analytics does not disable search, recommendations, cart, or orders.
Enable AI Analytics
What it does Record commerce and AI events for this dashboard.
Default value On.
Available options On / Off.
Recommended configuration On if you use the Analytics tab. Off to store fewer event rows.
When to use it Off for strict data-minimization stores.
Effect on the frontend None visible. Events stop being written.
Dependencies Feature gate analytics (default allowed).
Important notes Action aiwsa_analytics_event fires when events are emitted.
Example On during a launch month.
Enable Revenue Attribution
What it does Attribute WooCommerce orders to prior AI activity using a server-side window. The AI model cannot set this.
Default value On.
Available options On / Off.
Recommended configuration On if you want “AI-influenced revenue” on the dashboard.
When to use it Off if you only want event counts, not order matching.
Effect on the frontend None. Admin Attribution details hide customer emails and payment details.
Dependencies Enable AI Analytics. WooCommerce orders.
Important notes Heuristic window, not a legal proof of causation.
Example 7-day window: order placed after chatting yesterday is attributed.
Attribution window
What it does How far back AI activity may count toward an order.
Default value 7 days.
Available options 1 day, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days.
Recommended configuration 7 days.
When to use it 1 day for same-session-only; 30 days for long consideration.
Effect on the frontend None.
Dependencies Revenue attribution On.
Important notes Server-side only.

Analytics data retention
What it does Purge of this plugin’s analytics tables only. WooCommerce orders are never deleted.
Default value 90 days.
Available options 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, 1 year, Forever (0).
Recommended configuration 90 days unless you need longer reporting.
When to use it Forever only if you have a retention policy that allows it.
Effect on the frontend None.
Dependencies Daily cleanup.
Important notes Access & Privacy conversation retention is separate.
